Daily Balance: Energy to Grow

I do not believe in food guilt. A real sugary dessert once in a while is part of the joy of life! But as a mom, I am aware of the impact of what we eat daily, especially for those snacks that come back every single day.

Here, my goal is to simplify our lives. I replace refined sugar with nutritious ingredients (dates, fruit, applesauce) and I rely heavily on the freezer.

What reassures me the most? Knowing that my kids can pick from the stash with their eyes closed. No need to check labels or say "no": they gain independence and choose their own fuel.

Parenting is a constant challenge, and we all deserve solutions that lighten our mental load while taking care of our loved ones.

A note on transition: These recipes prioritize natural sugars like fruit and dates. My children are used to this, but I am aware that it is a change. If your palate is accustomed to sweeter flavors, feel free to add a little brown sugar at the beginning. You can gradually reduce the amount over time as you get used to these new natural flavors.
